Why we love living here!

After the crazy week-long Big Rock, Alan and I took a day off to spend together and we did what we always do, took the boat to the Cape!

I love it this time of year, everything is so green, the horses are out and about, the water is warm and there's lots of beach all to yourself because tourist don't usually go there! We did a little fishing and caught a few things (check out my sea robin!). We found the most sand dollars where we were today too!

And as always, Sandy had a blast! We are so blessed to live in such an amazing place.

Much love,
Alan & Carole

Father's Day...

I love you and I miss you Daddy.

Love,
Carole

We Survived...

Alan didn't hang up a blue marlin to weigh in at the Big Rock, but Wade and Stephen did release three blues in one day! Perty work guys!

It's Big Rock Time

I hope that you are all doing well. This next week is one of the busiest weeks we have all year, the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. This year is the 50th year and it should be a blast! So please say your prayers that Alan kills a big fish, and I have to say that it has been a life long dream of his to back into the scales of the Big Rock with a marlin on board! You can see Carole at the weigh station on the web cam! Here is a picture of a blue marlin Alan caught a few weeks ago!

Much Love,
Alan & Carole

Introducing Lily!

Here is Lily! We rescued this little girl who needed a home and we hope she likes it here!

Sorry that we haven't posted in a while, things have been beyond busy here! Alan has been fishing so much and we've had tournaments every weekend to work at! A day off sounds so good right now, and I've actually got one in sight! My boss gave me the go ahead to take a day and visit with some of my family that will be at Kure beach in a few weeks and I can't wait to see them!

Much love,
Alan & Carole
